I have been trying out different looks for trees for a while. I have a kind of Horror story that I wrote involving a tree, so I am always playing with erie tree pictures. This is one I did more recently.
Here's another Mad Max job I worked on. This was a decal on one of the motorcycles in the movie. The screen capture on the left was the best image we could find. I had to use my imagination to try and fill in the missing detail.
Here is another project I did for the Mad Max guys. They are going to reproduce the dog food that Max was munching on in the movie. I reproduced the label from movie stills and off camera shots.
I have some friends that import and restore old Australian muscle cars. They specialize in Mad Max replicas (as the name suggest) and they asked me to do a logo for them. So here is what I came up with, take a second a see it at their site. www.madmaxcars.com
I kind of have a things for robots too. Although I think it's entirely possible some of the future's biggest wars will be between man and machine, I still have a soft spot for a hunk of metal and machinery thats just trying to find it's place in the world.
Welcome to the first post of the Sohi Design blog. I will attempt to keep things fresh with illustrations, photos, songs, and anything else that comes to mind. For starters I have a comic that I wrote many years ago, but recreated in Illustrator. I hope you enjoy and return!
